LaDawn
LaDawn is new to the world of accounting but not new to the world of business. She received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University in 2004. She used that degree and started working for Life Time Fitness in their kids center. She quickly moved up and worked as the Child Center Category Lead and Training Specialist for Life Time Fitness for just under 12 years. During her time there she created new training curriculum for the manager certifications, traveled the US helping with the Grand Openings of new Life Time locations, helped with creating budgets and overseeing the budgets for all Child Centers, identified potential candidates, trained and supported the successful launch of new Child Center managers, launched new programming for kids, and managed the Child Center at the R&D Club location.
She left that career to be the co-owner of a start up business that aligns with her second passion, the performing arts. LaDawn ran the operations for the new business, everything from scheduling classes, billing, recruiting and hiring staff, to running lights and sound for shows and the daily operations. She built relationships with the parents, students, staff, and vendors to ensure a positive and professional experience and brand. Due to an issue with her business partner, she sadly had to walk away from that business. But, good news for us, now she brings her knowledge and skills to the Taxanista family!
LaDawn is a 5th Generation Arizona girl and is married with 2 kids. She loves to run, lift weights, sing, dance, anything Disney, travel and spend time with her husband and kids.
